Yeah, OK, so, I joined Y!gallery long before the furry influx, and I admit that for a while I thought it was getting a little overflooded with furry art .. but I thought, no biggie, people can just filter the anthro. Of course, since I didn't have the anthro filter on, I didn't realize how many furries were flouting the rules and not filtering their stuff, and of course some being rude to the mods. So, i can totally understand the admins' decision. it's sad, and I still love Y!gallery, though now half my favorite anime/manga/game characters are no longer eligible. :P

The furry drama reaction from some furries was to be expected. I get that, an no one thinks whining is a good thing. What's really stuck in my craw, though, is that so many non-fur fangirls here are gloating and cheering that the furry stuff is banned, calling it bestiality, etc. From a group of people whose art would be decried as sick and gross on almost any other site, yaoi fangirls SHOULD be more considerate; this sort of thing SHOULD be beneath them. It is called shadenfruede, my dears, and it makes you look bad, and it makes Y! look bad, and it's taking away the once-friendly atmosphere this place had.
