Heya Q33 : Snover posted that you are trying to start a Yaoi convention in Calgary. I was wondering if any Calgary convention planning is happening at yaoi.y-gallery.net/club/5606/ .

Well we didn't get any entries for August, hopefully things will go better this time round. Just think if you're the only one to entry you'll definitely win. Wink

Since September is the coming of Spring for some of us and Winter for others I thought I'd make things a little more personal this month's theme. Look out the window and feel inspired. What ever the season for September is for you, whether it means rain or falling leaves or anything in between pic your characters, pic your story and show the SApayne verse what it's like in your parks, forests or back yards.

We have monthly contests. On the 1st of the month (little late I know) the theme will be posted in the Main information section and runs till the last day of the month. If you have an idea for a theme send it in and we can either judge by reviews with the comment "vote" in the first line and count up or I can see if I can get Sarah and London to agree to judge. And we can have a fanfic based on the work as a prize and very probably get them placed on the official site.

As for the August theme:

We all have characters we adore and love in Sarah Payne's stories. Bet there are plenty we dislike, get irritated by, hate or feel just plain wrathful towards. Whether Ichi's ex Andrew or Father Conti, Aries trying to cause godly woes in New Again o Toshi's many head aches. Epi's late lover or that fan trying to get a phone number and date. Deems father or the one trying to buy him first.

There are plenty of malice and disdain or sheer sadness at many characters who do or don't get a mention or full plot placing in the many stories and whether you would like to depict a scene from one of the tales or something you only eve saw in your head (like Andrew being buried in fire ants ). Do it in the artistic medium of your choice and share it with us this month.
