EDIT: This was just funny. I've put up an RP profile on the Rabbit Hole, where I list my RP preference as: Androgynous, Bi, Male Preference, Submissive, rarely dominates - meaning that I'll RP any sort of pairing, including same-sex, but I prefer having a male partner, and prefer being bottom. Those of you with a brain probably had the last half figured out.

I get an IM from someone today who wanted their female character seduced and hypnotized by a male naga as a breeding slave. I've got nothing against het RP, but that one looked like it was deliberately ignoring my posted preferences.

I've decided that the bane of my existence is the passive player. - who is nonetheless terribly eager for the RP to continue. They manage to avoid the dreaded "one-liner", but when it comes down to it, the post is a load of flowery description signifying nothing.

I've got one going right now involving a sex-demon who has just been thwarted from continuing to feed on a mortal. The mortal has just gone down and made a scene in front of his father (who thwarted them) and the demon's family, who are at this celebratory gathering. You'd think there would be some reaction to this intrusion, right? No, after some lovely narrative description of the room, the demon's family just sits and waits for the mortal's father to explain things.

The father mentions a treaty between his family and the demon's family - still, the demon's family says nothing, and the demon is described as 'fuming' back in the mortal's chambers.

After a period of trying to think of how to move this story along, during which I'm already having off-line control issues, I finally think "Ah! I'll give the hungry sex demon a random piece of cannon-fodder to help reveal the danger the mortal is in!" I throw a hapless palace guard into the room - one that was sent to keep the pair apart - and have him make a move on the demon (drawn by the demon's unconscious sex-appeal - he'd never normally do such a thing).

The demon ignores him, and simply continues to fume.

This is probably why most people hate playing top in RP, and why I do my best to make my sub characters more than blow-up dolls.
