So...had an interesting Friday night.

We were over at the neighbor's house having dinner. Now, I live in a low-income, mostly black neighborhood. All of a sudden, we hear "BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM!" and squealing tires. As with most poverty stricken areas, there's a lot of crime. The shootings don't normally happen on our road though. It's either three blocks over, on 18th street, or four blocks down on Paramour Ave. So to have six shots fired off right outside our front door is a little nerve-wracking. Needless to say, everyone runs outside. First thought is "driveby" and everyone is shouting to everyone else, asking if anyone was hurt or anything was hit. Oddly enough...the answer is no. But there was no doubt that everyone heard the shots. My man and I head back to our own place to check for any damage. As we're walking...we find six shells sitting along the sidewalk from a 45 semi automatic. .

The first one was right outside our house and my hubby's Obama 08 bumper sticker was torn off the back of his car.

Fucking racist redneck hillbillie shitfaced sons of bitches with nothing better to do. They tore the sticker off, then fired the shots to get our attention so we would come outside and see their vandalism. Tell me it's just a coincidence that there was a fucking tractor pull/monster truck rally/redneckbloodyconvention not more than twenty minutes away only the day before.
