1. My last journal update was exactly one year ago. That's a lot more recent than my last image update. Both have now been updated for today. Hooray!

2. ArtRage. It is the most delicious program ever. I've bought it and Adobe CS2 this year, and of the two, ArtRage is by far the better purchase. (Though I still adore Photoshop for allowing me to easily tweak things.. and prep drawings for painting in ArtRage.)

3. I really haven't kept up with anything here the past year, unfortunately. My watched submissions folder has been hovering at the max of 1000+ entries for months now, and considering that the earliest stuff I could see after going through it all this morning was Halloween-era images... I know I missed a lot! No promises that this trend will not continue, but at least--

4. I've finally started to break my art funk. Hopefully this progress will continue.

5. Recently, I've started reworking an original project that's been stewing for (literally) years. I'm making outstanding headway with it. I intend to make a good chunk of the details (stored on a private wiki) available to the general public by the end of the year. Hopefully it will be well received.

6. Numbered lists really help me out a lot!

7. I've had fun conning this year. No Y-con this time; I'm waiting til my credit cards are all 100% paid off (almost there!) before I travel anywhere more than 300 miles away; that's my hard cutoff point. I'm also forgoing any major purchases until that time. But cosplay has been doing well. Photos are on my coscom page.

8. The job is going well, thank you, but that's not what I talk about here. That's what IJ/LJ is for.

9. I now have three lovely pets. Lord Voldemort, the ball python with (seriously) skill shaped markings all down his body. (He IS the dark mark.) Roxy, the spaz of a cat who acts more like a dog than anything. And Grimmjow, the shepherd with a big black skull pattern on his face who acts far more like a cat than anything. He's also a mama's boy. It shouldn't come as any surprise that I did actually name him that. :3
